Trench Queen

About this drama

The source for this entry is a synopsis of 539 characters in 6 sentences, a middle-length source with no ending stated, and one transcription fact comes first: the source's one curly apostrophe is rendered with a straight apostrophe. With that fact in place the source reads: Evelyn, a low-born girl, enters an elite academy that hunts sea monsters. Falling into a sea cave during training, she meets Nerian, the imprisoned Blue-Gold King of the deep ocean. Ignoring prejudice, she secretly helps him, forming a spiritual bond. Headmaster Vance leads fleets to seize the sea king's power. Evelyn unites sea clans and defeats his conspiracy with wisdom. She gains full coastal command, rules the ocean with loyal Nerian, ends the hatred between humans and sea creatures, and ushers in an era of peaceful coexistence. The ending elements are present in the source text. The ending is stated in full, and this entry counts among the batch's fully sourced endings. Three catalog facts frame the entry. The run is 31 episodes, shared by 5 other entries, one of the batch's odd, non-round runs. The registry column lists 5 against the API's 31, part of this batch's systematic split between free counts and full counts, disclosed with the API figure used here. The counter reads 95 views, eighteenth of twenty, in the lower half. The byline is lightdrama0, the first and only of its entries in this batch, and the platform marks the series completed.
