The Alpha's Contract Nurse

About this drama

Mara Hale is a widowed werewolf who nurses other people's children for money, with a son of her own. Coming back from a night shift, she finds a man dying in the forest and does the only thing she knows: feed him her milk. He wakes up as Cassian Blackthorn, Alpha of the Blackthorn pack, and a wolf no woman has touched in years, which turns to pain. He hires her. Nobody in that estate understands that the curse is not a curse. His brother Rowan built it, and the pain keeps the pack under Rowan's thumb and his son's succession safe. The closer Mara and Cassian get, the harder Rowan works: shame, rumours, accidents, then a charge of witchcraft pointed at her. With a loyal guard, a prisoner who knows how the curse was made, and a witness who breaks, she takes the story to the pack.
