The Sun God’s Forgotten Bride

About this drama

There is a bride in the old stories about the Sun God, described as beautiful, lost, and bound by a promise made before the kingdom existed. A young woman with a past nobody can explain wakes up inside the sun temple and finds the story has been waiting for her. What is there is older than the politics: old rituals, a divine authority she does not yet understand, and a love that has been running for centuries with her at the end of it. The Sun God was mortal once, and has been searching since. Not everyone in the temple wants them found together, and the conspiracies around the place are aimed at the union itself. The question in front of her is whether she wants what she was promised, or wants to run from what it will cost.
