The Cursed Bride

About this drama

She is handed to the Cursed Tyrant as part of a marriage pact, and nobody explains what that means to the woman being handed over. He is a ruler bound to an ancient darkness that has started to take an interest in the people around him, and she stands closest to it. What nobody at court predicted is that the curse would do something to her too, that being near it would wake up a capacity of her own that the kingdom has no name for. From there the marriage becomes a fight on two fronts: black magic, royal betrayal, and a man whose darkness is not entirely his own, because breaking what binds him may be the only way to keep it from taking the rest of her. The question nobody asks out loud is whether they will break the bond between them or learn to carry it.
