Queen of the Spirit Beasts

About this drama

Long ago humans and spirit beasts shared the same ground, and then something ancient woke up that neither of them could handle alone. It takes two sisters to close it. One is marked to rule the beasts; the other carries the blood of an order that was supposed to have ended. They have been kept apart, and the story only works when they are in the same room. So they meet, they combine what they are, and the kingdom they are trying to save starts to look survivable for the first time. That is when the parts of their past they did not know about start coming through: old arrangements, old debts, the reason the two of them were separated. Blood ties them. Duty pulls them apart. The answer is not in their combined strength. It is in whether they can trust each other well enough to use it.
