The Only Pregnant Man on Earth
About this drama
The premise is a curse with a lesson attached. Ryan is chauvinistic, abuses his pregnant wife Chloe, and wakes up mysteriously pregnant himself. That's the punishment engine, and the copy makes him serve the full sentence: he endures full-term pregnancy pains, gets trapped in a public frenzy, and becomes a target for an unethical biotech firm called Hale. One housekeeping note before the plot, the official copy runs several words together, fullterm, lifeordeath, exwife, humanexperiment, so I've quoted it with normal spacing and I'm telling you plainly that the listing itself has the spacing defects. The story's protector is Silas, Chloe's brother, who takes Ryan under his protection while Ryan repents his past wrongs through hardships. The two grow close and fall in love somewhere in the life-or-death stretch, which is a pairing the copy states without much ceremony, and honestly that's the right call for a premise this loud. Ryan reaches a partial reconciliation with his ex-wife, and together they defeat the corporation's illegal human-experiment scheme and welcome the baby's birth. The tail is interesting, a new supernatural threat emerges, and Ryan and Silas found something called CursePeace Hall to help victims of dark magic. So it's a redemption arc that turns into a monster-of-the-week launcher, which explains the forty-six episode count. What's unlisted is what the new threat is and whether the curse ever formally lifts.
