The Ming Chronicles I: Rise of the Ming

About this drama

Back in time to the early Ming Dynasty, Cyan Lee found a master — only for him to vanish, leaving Cyan dragged into the imperial palace to treat Empress Regina Mae. So began his journey through the Ming world. He survived bloody purges and brutal civil wars. He witnessed golden ages of tribute and prosperity. He rose from secret agent to the heights of the imperial court, befriended a philosopher-sage, and wandered the land with a celebrated poet-painter. He is a man the river of time has chosen to forget.
