Surrender to the Alpha Cadet
About this drama
A military academy romance with the pressure turned all the way up. Julian is heir to a Wall Street old-money family, and he has been exiled by his ruthless father to Blackwood Military Academy, a school famed, in the copy's own words, for its iron and masculinity. The reason is that he came out publicly. The deal is blunt: survive Blackwood, and he gets to attend a top design school in Paris. At the academy he is forced into an elite tactical squad led by Tristan, the academy's Alpha legend and son of the commandant. Tristan reads the delicate New York heir as dead weight and makes his life miserable. Then the mud and sweat do their work. An undeniable physical attraction sparks between them, in locker rooms and late-night trenches, amid bullying and resistance. The show refuses to soften the setting. The academy code is ruthless. The commandant runs a homophobic crackdown. A rival runs scheming tactics against them both. The convergence of those three fronts forces Tristan's impossible choice: secure his Pentagon recommendation, or declare war openly, before the entire academy, for his boy. Forty-two episodes in that pressure cooker. The copy does not say which way he chooses, only the shape of the choice. The appeal is the collision itself: old money against military discipline, a design student's Paris dream against a commandant's son's Pentagon track, and two people who were set up as opposites discovering they are the same thing under fire.
