Shattered Crown, Abyssal Throne

About this drama

The source for this entry is a synopsis of nine hundred five characters in twenty-three short sentences, a staccato source, and three transcription facts come first: two em dashes are rendered with comma pairs in their places; the final line is a spoken line set inside quotation marks, carried exactly as printed; and the entry's name carries a comma, recorded as printed, all disclosed here. The source reads: at the sacrifice ceremony, her newborn son was thrown into the deep-sea grinder, iron teeth crushing flesh and bone, and they ripped off her last golden scale; Helena died cursing their names, then she opened her eyes, reborn, back to the day of the royal engagement; Zael exposed her white-scale curse, stripped her of everything, exiled her to the mud, and forced her to marry a crippled outcast; this time, she did not cry; she crawled into the black market, and with a kiss and a drop of blood she woke a translucent monster, forgotten, abandoned, rotting in a cage; no one knew he carried the last drop of the Kraken's bloodline, and no one knew her womb would birth a true god; let her sister fake a royal heir, let the prince kneel and beg; and when the iron throne shatters and the abyss rises, Helena crushes the crown under her tail, lifts her newborn high, and the final line speaks: Bow. He is your new god. The ending is stated in compressed form, the crown crushed and the newborn lifted inside a when-clause frame closed by a spoken declaration, and the platform marks the series ongoing, the only entry of the batch so marked, a split disclosed here. Three catalog facts frame the entry. The run is thirteen episodes, standing alone at that length, the shortest run of the batch and the session's shortest, under the previous floor of nineteen set one batch ago, recorded here as the count stands. The registry column lists 6 against the API's thirteen, the narrowest split of the batch at seven, part of this batch's systematic split between free counts and full counts, disclosed with the API figure used here. The counter reads 692 views, second of twenty, in the upper half, behind only the batch's runaway leader. The byline is Hooked In Seconds, its only appearance in this batch, and the platform marks the series ongoing.
