Betrayed Mermaid, Empress Reborn

About this drama

Betrayed Mermaid, Empress Reborn carries a dense 580-character synopsis. In her past life, Blair, a golden-tailed mermaid, was killed by Crown Leo together with her silver-tailed baby. Reborn just before the concubine selection ceremony, she endures bullying from Leo and the jealous Aria, and marries the mild Third Prince Sol, who hides the legendary colorful god tail. The rebirth point is precise, the eve of the ceremony where the first betrayal began, which gives the second life its symmetry. The intrigue follows the tail hierarchy. Desperate for golden offspring, Aria conspires with the shark clansman Cain, and at the hatching ritual gives birth only to a shark cub, exposing the scheme. The hatching ritual is the trap Aria sets for herself, and the cub is the proof the court cannot ignore. Leo's cruelty is exposed and he is imprisoned; Sol awakens his divine tail and ascends the throne; Blair bears the prophesied heir, and the two rule the ocean peacefully together. The run is thirty-five episodes with 783 views, a lower-tier count for this batch. The synopsis is unusually specific about its caste system of tails and its justice mechanics, and it states the full ending. This entry documents it without extension.
