Wrong Groom, Right Love
About this drama
Here's the setup in four sentences, which is all the official copy runs to. Sophia marries Ethan Carter because her mother wants the match, and Ethan, a certified mama's boy, brings exactly the temperature you'd expect. The same day, in a different ceremony, Zane Lam weds Molly Foster, a fiery heiress, and fate starts turning its gears quietly. Both bridal parties end up at the same hotel, both brides are veiled, the processions were arranged in haste, and during the bridal transfer somebody delivers each woman to the wrong groom. That's where the listing stops, mid-farce, and I'll be straight about the inventory: the names, the pairings, the hotel, the veils, the swap. Nothing after it is written down anywhere I can check, so nothing after it appears here. The veils and the haste are doing the mechanical work, and everything past the swap is the show's own business. Sixty-three episodes sit behind that single mistake, which is a lot of runway for one swapped bride, and the title, Wrong Groom, Right Love, hints at the direction without committing to it. Whether Sophia ends up with Zane or the whole thing snaps back into place for comedy's sake, the copy leaves open, and I'm leaving it open too.
