Buried, But Not Broken
About this drama
Molly sells her house and spends everything on her husband Austin's postgraduate degree and his first business, and goes into debt to pay for sister-in-law Sharon's treatment. The family calls it what it is: a woman who gives and gives. On a stormy night she sees the truth: her best friend, the host Stacy Collins, has been with Austin for a long time. The argument that follows is the end of everything. She goes down against the corner of the table and does not get up. When they realise what they have done, the sensible thing in their minds is not to call anyone. They put her in the ground in the suburbs and leave her there. She comes out of it, and the first person waiting is the wealthy father who has spent years looking for her. Naomi Cross is not Molly any more.
