The Maid They Mocked Became the Heiress

About this drama

The day she starts work as a maid at a luxury hotel, the bride-to-be tells her to kneel and wipe up spilled champagne. She does it. Seconds later, the ailing matriarch sees what is around her neck, a vintage silver lock that has been in one place for twenty years. Twenty years ago two babies were swapped, and the family that raised her has been living on the other child's life. The matriarch knows what she is looking at. The staff do not. What the family expects is for the girl on the floor to hear the truth and fold, because that is what everyone has watched her do. She gets up, and she goes back to work. Then she arrives at the anniversary banquet with the police and her birth records, and asks the people who took her life to pay for it.
