The Surrogate: The Secret

About this drama

ER nurse Elena Shaw signs a five-million-dollar surrogacy contract with New York's Blackwood family to pay for her father's cancer treatment, only to discover that its 'natural conception' clause hides drugging, substituted identities, and the disappearance of six previous surrogates. Family head Adrian becomes fiercely possessive, while his brother Julian may have been ordered to take Adrian's place on the first night, leaving the baby's paternity uncertain. Elena then learns that her mother Lily was the family's first surrogate twenty years earlier and may have created a blood connection to Adrian. Trapped between the brothers and schemes run by Victoria and patriarch Marcus, Elena investigates the old crimes to save herself and her child.
