One of the twins is missing, and the one left behind is the quiet one, which is the last person anyone would mistake for the other. Still, that is the job she takes. Her sister was the powerful one at the academy, the one people made room for, and the sister who disappeared left behind a name, a reputation and people who will be watching closely whether the girl wearing it behaves right. It works better than it should. It also means every mistake made in that name belongs to her, and every person who knows the difference is now dangerous. As she digs for what happened to the girl she is pretending to be, the reasons start to look less like an accident and more like a decision somebody made. In a school where status protects anybody, the truth is the one place she cannot go.
