The Marked Bride’s Return
About this drama
The listing for this one opens with a garbled line, it repeats the words "She satisfying" twice and then gives up, so I'll start where the copy becomes readable. Valerie is the ice-cold student council president who owns the school. Aria is the invisible scholarship girl who can't even look up. Valerie slams a contract on the desk and says, "We're engaged. Don't disappoint me." Aria has no money, no power, and no choice, which is the fake-engagement engine in a single line. The blurb is decorated with flame and crown emojis throughout, which tells you its tone better than any summary could. Fake becomes real in a run of specifics I'd rather quote than paraphrase: Valerie folds a metal pen in half watching someone touch Aria's collar, she wipes another girl's fingerprints off Aria's neck at midnight, and she whispers "you're mine" like a threat and a prayer. Then Aria's family rips her away, puts her on a plane while Valerie screams behind a fence, and there are six years of silence. The return is what the title points at. A NASA scientist walks back into that university, locks eyes with her ex across a crowded auditorium, and says into the microphone, "I'm here to reclaim what's mine." The copy tags itself as GL possessive crossed with soft, fake engagement turning real, and lists 35 episodes as a complete series. Which of the two women became the scientist, the blurb never says.
