The Lion Chose Her

About this drama

The source for this entry is a one-sentence logline of 151 characters, and one transcription fact comes first: the word fiancée is printed with its accent, kept here as printed. What the source states: a disgraced fiancée is pushed toward a white lion for charity spectacle, but the creature meant to humiliate her becomes the only man who protects her. The line is a single reversal hung on one substitution: the instrument of public humiliation, the lion, is refitted into the sole protector, and the phrase the only man does the refitting, converting the animal into the romantic lead in the middle of the sentence. The charity spectacle is the only social setting given, the push is the only event, and the disgrace is stated as her standing without its cause narrated, a gap recorded as printed. The cast is two roles on no names, the woman and the lion, and the record stops at the protection, and no ending is stated. Three catalog facts frame the entry. The run is eighty episodes, the modal length of this batch, shared by seven of the twenty entries, and the registry column lists fifteen against the API's eighty, part of this batch's systematic split between free counts and full counts, disclosed with the API figure used here. The counter reads 572 views, fifteenth of twenty, in the lower half. The listing credits Shape of Desire, the core spelling of an account family with seven entries in this batch across three byline variants, and the platform marks the series completed.
