The Contract Husband
About this drama
A marriage of convenience is what a young woman agrees to when a man from the richest tier of the world wants a wife on paper. She thinks the terms are the whole of it. He is cold, used to being obeyed and to getting what he wants on the first asking. She is independent, stubborn, and determined to keep a version of herself intact inside his world. The contract keeps pulling them into the same rooms, and the line it drew starts to blur. Around them are family obligations nobody has explained to her, enemies she has not been introduced to, and a past that keeps refusing to stay where it was put. What started as an arrangement has to become something both of them did not price into it, and neither of them is willing to be the one who admits it first.
