Royal Blood & Mafia Knight
About this drama
Three hundred fifty characters, three sentences, one of which is a setup and two of which are a genre promise, so this summary will be proportionate. Prince Caleb of Britain is sold to Arian, the youngest godfather of the Conti family in Sicily. He has no idea that the sale is a long-planned, elaborately orchestrated emotional entanglement rather than a transaction. That's the copy's one real reveal, that the captivity is a courtship in disguise. Everything after it is trajectory: the two turn from enemies into lovers, cross the boundary between life and death, overcome deep-rooted prejudices, and ignite a dangerous yet burning romance. The listing gives no names for who arranged the plot, no explanation of why a British prince is sellable in the first place, and no casualty list from the life-and-death boundary. All of that stays open. What the structure does tell you is that the show likely spends its front half on Caleb discovering the orchestration, because the audience knows it from sentence two and he doesn't, which is the standard dramatic irony loadout for this kind of story. Fifty-two episodes. The copy also uses a couple of non-standard hyphen characters in its compounds, a small typographic quirk I've transcribed normally rather than preserved.
