Purring in His Penthouse
About this drama
Adrian Cross, president of Cross Group, is bored on a rainy night when he spots a reckless boy on a rooftop and orders his team to take him alive. That is how Purring in His Penthouse opens, and the show never slows down enough to apologize for it. The boy is Julian. Before Adrian can reach him, Julian runs into debt collectors in an alley. They want ninety grand, up from sixty the week before. Julian mouths off anyway. Adrian arrives, stops it cold, and tells the collectors to pass a message to their boss: forty-eight hours to leave town, or he visits personally. Then comes the reveal the title has been sitting on. Back at the penthouse, Adrian discovers the stray has real cat ears. He calls Julian the most expensive thing he has ever owned, and puts a contract in front of him: Exclusive Head Designer, House of Cross, ten million a year. Julian protests that he sews stolen scraps in a squat. Adrian has already found the Instagram account behind the fake name. The line that frames the whole arrangement: nobody puts a rebar through your skull ever again. Julian signs, mutters that he has landed in a ten million dollar prison, and tries to run the next morning. The staff block him. Breakfast is pancakes. Adrian intercepts him. Worth knowing: YourChannel's own copy for this title is a single line and nothing else.
