Passion Off Camera

About this drama

Seven hundred seventy-five characters, and the copy states a complete showbiz BL with its resolution. Beck Hale, an action star, and Cassian Vane, a top director, are forced to co-star in a same-sex lead drama after awkward on-set kiss scenes spark widespread gossip, and Beck initially resists the packaged couple hype. As they rehearse intimate shots and face paparazzi slander, hidden tension blooms between them, Beck struggles to deny his genuine feelings while Cassian sees through his feigned straight persona. The stated opposition piles on, rival actors' sabotage and a scheming studio boss who exploits their bond for profit, with fabricated scandals, public smears and forced separation. The resolution is given in full, the pair bravely stand side by side, expose all the plots, and openly confess their love at the awards ceremony, turning staged on-camera passion into a lifelong real romance. The copy states the industry pressure in plain terms, paparazzi slander and a boss who mines the gossip for money, so the love story doubles as an exposure arc. The copy gives Beck's arc in stages, resistance, denial, struggle, then an open confession, each stage tied to an external pressure. Withheld: the studio boss's motive in detail and which fabricated scandal cuts deepest. Thirty-one episodes, complete, 1,065 views.
