My Dream Lover Guarded Me for Centuries
About this drama
Vivian's problems start with an engagement she can't stand and get weirder from there. She's trapped in a ruthless match, and then the man from her most intimate dreams walks into real life. Holland Shaw, the listing calls him, magnetic and impossible, and somehow connected to the castle mysteries her mother took to the grave. I'd quote the strange bits, because they're the best part: roses appear out of nowhere, messages cross the line between sleep and waking, and an old photo hints the past has been hiding something monstrous. Whoever wrote this copy clearly enjoyed it. The structure is a double pull. On one side there's the engagement she's locked into; on the other, a dream lover who feels more real than the fiancé, and the dead mother is the thread connecting them. The attraction is called forbidden, and the show doesn't pretend otherwise. Family betrayal shows up, the danger escalates, and the trap tightens the closer she gets to Holland. Hired violence, blood-bound curses, jealous obsession, and a conspiracy far bigger than either of them imagined. That last one is doing a lot of work, since it tells you the castle was only the front door. Twenty episodes, which is short for a spiral this steep, so expect the pace to sprint. The title says he guarded her for centuries; the copy says curses and conspiracies. The gap between those two claims is where the actual story lives.
