I Became My Alpha’s Body
About this drama
One sentence does all the high-concept lifting, so start there: she woke up in the Alpha's body. The untouchable, terrifying ruler of the Silverfang pack is now her, and his furious consciousness is watching every clumsy move she makes. The predicament has three walls. She has to fool the whole pack, who know exactly how their ruler carries himself. She has to survive his enemies, who are circling what they assume is a weakened Alpha. And she has to share a body with a wolf who'd rather kill her than cooperate, which is logistically awkward, given that the body in question belongs to one of the two of them. The blurb's own tagline is still the cleanest summary on offer: two wolves, one body, zero escape. Sixty episodes of that locked room. What the copy never explains is the mechanism: whose fault the swap is, whether it can be undone, what either of them was before the switch. It also never names her, which is worth noticing, since the story's tension depends on her being an intruder in a role everyone else can see. The early episodes write themselves as comedy, a stranger performing authority she doesn't have while the actual authority screams from the passenger seat. The danger escalates from there. What the listing promises is the cage, not the exit, and sixty episodes is a long time to share a skeleton with someone who wants you dead.
