His Assistant Under My Roof

About this drama

The source for this entry is a single-paragraph synopsis of 308 characters, printed with no special punctuation to transcribe. What the source states: two people who made a lifelong promise to each other at an orphanage reunite, only for him to mistake someone else for her. She watches as an imposter takes her place and is showered with his affection, while he remains completely in the dark, unaware that the person he truly loves is right in front of him. The premise is a mistaken-identity triangle with the truth held by one side only: the promise, the imposter, and the oblivious man are the three fixed points, and the synopsis closes on his unawareness, a state rather than an outcome, so no ending is stated. Three catalog facts frame the entry. The run is sixty-four episodes, standing alone at that length. The registry column lists 10 against the API's sixty-four, part of this batch's systematic split between free counts and full counts, disclosed with the API figure used here. The counter reads 1,087 views, thirteenth of twenty, just below the median. The byline is qinjiu_scene_ca, one of three entries under it in this batch, and the platform marks the series completed.
