Her Perfect Prisoner
About this drama
Structure first, because the copy announces it in its own first sentence: two yandere leads in a yuri short drama, thirty-one episodes by the blurb's count against the thirty-two in the current listing, and I'll deliver by the listing while noting the blurb disagrees. Cassandra is a powerful gang lord. Ten years ago a girl named Raven saved her, and Cassandra's response to that debt is extreme: track Raven down, kidnap her, lock her in a villa, impose strict rules, surveillance, harsh restrictions, all of it out of guilt curdled into obsessive possession. The twist is that Raven is not the victim she plays on the surface. She planned the reunion across a decade, acting weak and timid on purpose to draw the obsessed Cassandra deeper into love. From there it's a cat-and-mouse game where both players are cats: jealousy, power struggles, hidden schemes, layer after layer of mutual suspicion. The end state is stated plainly, both women realize they're equally addicted to each other, the one-sided captivity turns into mutual obsession, and they finish as equal, complicit lovers bound together forever. Thirty-two episodes. What's unlisted is which schemes belong to whom and how much of the villa phase survives the reveal, so the middle stretch is where the tension concentrates.
