Best Race, Best Love

About this drama

Seven hundred five characters, and the copy states a complete BL racing drama with its ending. Three years ago Cole survived a deadly crash that killed his teammate Kai, and the survivor has lived in heavy guilt and self-isolation ever since. Jesse chases Cole on the track and breaks through his cold shell, gradually winning his heart while their ambiguous, tense romance grows. The listing then adds a third driver, Kai's brother V joins the team hiding hatred for Cole, and the trio jointly dig up evidence proving the crash was a deliberate sabotage by deputy Reeve. The payoffs are stated in sequence, they chase down the criminal, resolve the long-standing resentment, and heal each other's trauma. The close is given in full, Cole proposes to Jesse on the race track, and the two choose to race side by side for the rest of their lives. The copy keeps the sport and the grief fused, the same circuit that killed Kai is where the proposal lands, so the finish line doubles. The listing gives the rescue a stated order, evidence first, then the chase, then the mended grudges. Withheld: which races are shown and how V's hatred resolves beat by beat. Thirty-one episodes, complete, 2,043 views.
