The Wife's Fury:lSend You to Hell
About this drama
The company's tenth-anniversary gala is where it starts, and the title card carries a small typo that I've quietly fixed, a missing space where the colon meets the word after it, worth a sentence here and no more. Vivian is a fashion mogul, and at her own gala she catches her husband Owen having an affair with a young model named Bella. The humiliation inverts immediately. Bella mistakenly humiliates Vivian at the banquet and accuses her of being the other woman, which is the sort of reversal this genre runs on. Meanwhile Vivian's best friend Mia conspires with Owen, and the conspiracy escalates on paper: they attempt to kidnap Vivian's daughter and later drug Vivian in a plot to frame her. The copy's structure after that is a single held breath. Biding her time and orchestrating a counterattack, Vivian turns the tables, and the sentences that follow read like a verdict sheet. The scumbag husband is stripped of his assets and imprisoned. The mistress is blacklisted. The treacherous friend is sentenced to jail. Vivian reclaims control of her business empire. Sixty episodes are listed, which is a lot of room for the biding, and the listing gives no dates or method for the counterattack, so how she flips each trap stays unspoiled. The daughter's rescue is also assumed rather than shown, and I'm noting that rather than filling it in.
