The Tycoon’s Race to Love Me
About this drama
Eleanor has the mind of an eight-year-old, and the family she married into has spent her whole life treating that as an excuse. Her stepmother and stepsister Winnie beat on her, and when her father arranged a marriage to the tycoon Sullivan, Winnie wanted that wedding more than Eleanor did. She pushed her into a swimming pool the night before, then took the wedding car while Eleanor was under the water. What Eleanor does not know is whose car she is pulled out of. Grayson Randolph has pretended to be paralyzed for three years, because his father and his illegitimate half-brother Green count on a cripple to hand the group over. He expects his father's spy. Instead he gets Eleanor, who asks for pastries and worries about his legs, and waits outside his locked door until the fireflies she caught for him run out. His suspicion does not survive her.
