The Tycoon's Lucky Charm
About this drama
Five sentences is the whole official synopsis, and the first one hurts: little Lily is abused and driven from her home by her wicked stepmother Vivian. At her father's grave, she meets Miles, a billionaire, and the two become close friends despite their age difference. I'll note the odd shape of the rest, because it's the listing's own flavor. With her superpowers and pure kindness, Lily heals Miles's leg ailment, and uses her amazing talent to overcome numerous challenges in programming, piano, and AI data, becoming the beloved "aunt" of the Ashford family. An abused little girl ending up as a family's beloved "aunt" is the kind of thing only this genre writes with a straight face, and the copy means it as the happy ending. The surname shift is unexplained too, Miles the billionaire on one line and the Ashford family on the next, so I'm reporting it as-listed rather than guessing at the relation. Seventy episodes is a long run, and the blurb gives no villains beyond the stepmother and no arc beyond the talent tour, so the middle is entirely open. What the copy does promise is the pairing of powers and kindness, where the healing comes from both and the challenges exist to be overcome rather than merely survived. What Vivian does next, and whether the abuse ever gets answered, are unlisted.
