The Price of a Cold-Blooded Father

About this drama

Five hundred eighty-eight characters, and the copy states a family tragedy that pivots into a system-granted fantasy deal, with no ending given. Six-year-old Luna's home burns to the ground in a massive fire, leaving her mother Sophia unconscious, and the child trudges barefoot across snow-covered ground to seek help from her father Richard. The betrayal is collective and stated by name, she is abandoned and framed by her father, her elder brother Ethan, his lover Emily, and Emily's daughter Mia. At her lowest point a mysterious system materializes before her and strikes a deal, she will travel to another world to live for three years, accompanying a kind father and his son, and once the mission is fulfilled her mother will return to her fully healthy. The premise is a stated trade, one broken family exchanged for a working one, with the mother's recovery. The listing stops at the deal's terms, so the whole arc of the other world, the mission's price, and the reckoning with the family that framed a six-year-old is the show's to tell. The copy states the arithmetic of the trade flatly, three years in another world set against a healthy mother. Withheld: the outcome of the mission, and whether the cold-blooded father pays any price. Thirty episodes, complete, 1,096 views.
