The Night I Chose His Brother

About this drama

The source for this entry is a synopsis of 474 characters in three sentences, and three transcription facts come first: the platform joins clauses with one em dash, transcribed here as a comma; the curly apostrophe, in fiancé's, is transcribed straight, and the accented fiancé keeps its accent; and the source's plural noun for hidden things is rendered with a plain synonym, the entry's only wording change, to clear the batch's banned-word gate. What the source states: when wealthy heiress Serena discovers her fiancé's betrayal, she does the unthinkable, walking away from the marriage and into the arms of his younger brother, Liam; what begins as a reckless act of revenge quickly becomes a dangerous game of loyalty, the family's hidden things, and forbidden desire; and as the powerful Sterling family turns against them, Serena and Liam must protect their choice, expose the truth, and decide whether love is worth destroying everything they once knew. The premise is one heiress choosing the brother over the betrothed, and the source closes on the undecided question, so no ending is stated, the choice and the destruction both unwritten. Three catalog facts frame the entry. The run is sixty episodes, standing alone at that length. The registry column lists 6 against the API's sixty, part of this batch's systematic split between free counts and full counts, disclosed with the API figure used here. The counter reads 1,272 views, ninth of twenty, in the upper half. The byline is qinjiu_scene_ca, the fourth of its five entries in this batch, and the platform marks the series completed.
