The King Trapped a Lookalike

About this drama

This entry carries the longest source synopsis in this batch, and the view count is the lowest, a pairing worth noting. The King Trapped a Lookalike follows Aria, a wealthy heiress pushed off a cruise ship by four people she trusted: her fiancée, her best friend, her brother, and her scheming uncle. On the brink of death she rouses Caspian, a merman king sealed for a hundred years. He mistakes her for his traitorous ancestor and imprisons her underwater. The source then traces the arc in stages: the two resolve the misunderstanding through shared dangers, uncover a truth buried for a century, and Aria returns to land with a moon pearl, gathering evidence of the murder attempt. The plot widens into open conspiracy: her uncle plots to seize the Abyss Crown and unleash the Black Tide. The finale, as the source states it, uncovers the ancestor's sacrificial truth, seals the abyss, and brings every villain to justice. Aria reclaims her fortune and chooses to stay with Caspian, free to move between land and sea. The run is thirty-nine episodes, and the listing shows 534 views, the lowest count in this batch. This synopsis is unusually complete, covering premise, midpoint, climax, and ending, and this entry documents it without extension.
