The Heir's Contract Bride

About this drama

She was supposed to be the joke at the wedding. The man she is marrying sits in a wheelchair, comes from nothing, and is the kind of person a family points at when it wants a story about marrying down. She goes along with it because she has her own reasons, and she does not know that the reason everyone is laughing is the one thing nobody checked. He is the richest man in the world. The wheelchair is not what it looks like. When he stands up in front of everyone, the room does not get quieter so much as empties, because every person who laughed at the marriage has just worked out what they owe if the man they laughed at is who they think he is. She watched the whole thing happen. She is the only person in the room who is not afraid of him.
