The Day I Left You

About this drama

Mia has spent seven years loving a husband who does not look up from his work, raising their daughter and running a house that is never quite acknowledged as hers. She travels abroad on her birthday to see family, and finds Henry and their daughter at a party for Evelyn instead, celebrating someone else's day in a room where Mia is the only person not expected. She flies home, leaves the divorce papers on the table and starts rebuilding a career she put aside. Henry reads the papers and does not take them seriously, because he cannot imagine her gone. It takes her actually being gone for him to understand what he has been living with, and by then she has stopped waiting to be noticed.
