Mess With Her , Answer To The Don
About this drama
Eighteen hundred characters, the fullest plot of this batch, and a rise told in three public unmaskings. Lina is a poor girl from Brooklyn who accidentally saves an elderly mafia matriarch suffering a heart attack, and falls deeply in love with Vincent, who hides his identity as the Godfather of the New York mafia. The antagonist pair arrives on schedule: Mia, Lina's malicious stepsister, steals the noble heirloom left by Lina's birth mother and falsely claims to be the heiress of the elite European Sterling family, teaming up with Leo, her gold-digging ex-boyfriend, to persecute Lina. The first unmasking is at a high-end jewelry store on Fifth Avenue. Mia publicly humiliates Lina and threatens to break her legs and throw her into a river. At that moment Vincent reveals his Godfather identity to defend her, exposes Mia's fake-heiress charade on the spot, and helps Lina reunite with her biological grandfather. The second movement raises the stakes. Mia colludes with the second elder, who seeks to seize family power, and at the family-reunion banquet she fabricates evidence to slander Lina and orchestrates an attack in alliance with a rival mafia clan. The copy marks Lina's turn with its own sentence: having endured so much, she abandons her forbearing and kind nature. The third act is methodical rather than violent. Working hand in hand with the Godfather she gathers evidence, strips away all the villains' hypocritical facades in public, and secures the sole right of inheritance to the Sterling family, becoming its new matriarch. The copy closes by naming its own genre promises: every villain gets their well-deserved comeuppance, and the love story is one of mutual devotion. Thirty-five episodes, marked complete.
