Master by Day, Lover by Night
About this drama
One relationship, two shifts. By day Adrian Blackwood is her boss, and the copy stacks three adjectives on him right away: cold, demanding, untouchable. By night he's the lover waiting at his penthouse door, holding her like she's his only warmth. The woman is Mia, and she's the only name the blurb gives us, which tells you where its priorities are. What holds them together is also what can destroy them, because the copy says one slip and his empire falls, her reputation burns. That's the whole engine, a secret with real casualties attached, financially speaking. The turn arrives when a rival uncovers the truth, and the line the copy lands on is a good one, so I'll quote it the way it's written: Mia learns the man who owns her days and her nights has been hiding who he really is. What he's actually hiding is never specified, and I checked, there's no longer synopsis to consult. So the read is this: the double life is the premise, the rival is the trigger, and whatever Adrian really is becomes the show's withheld card. Thirty episodes for that card to stay face-down as long as possible. The office by day, the penthouse by night, and a rival holding the fuse.
