Fallen Frost, Shattered Hearts

About this drama

When the northern frontier fell into crisis, she voluntarily petitioned to be sent into a political marriage. She had grown up as childhood sweethearts with the crown prince, bound together for ten full years, never apart whenever he was in the capital. Yet now she chose to leave him behind and travel alone to the northern land. The emperor could not understand her resolve, but she insisted without hesitation. The moment the crown prince ignored public gossip and insisted on marrying the younger sister of his personal guard as his crown princess, her heart completely cooled, and she stopped asking for anything more. An imperial decree was issued, granting her the title of Guardian Princess of the Realm, with her departure set for seven days later. Meanwhile, the crown prince, still convinced that his childhood companion would never leave him, remained completely unaware of the truth.
