Beneath the Surface

About this drama

The source for this entry is a synopsis of 391 characters in four sentences, and one transcription fact comes first: the platform wraps the entire text in straight double quotes, opening and closing, kept as printed here, the only fully-quoted source of the batch. What the source states, inside those quotes: swim team rivals Julian and Remi have hidden a mutual crush for years; forced into intensive round-the-clock synchronized training, their hostile facade crumbles; trapped between family pressure, a forced marriage, and Remi's desperate family struggles, the two let go of pride and fear; they defy fate, abandon predefined futures, and turn bitter rivalry into an intense, redemptive love. The premise is two rivals in one lane trading hostility for love, and the source states the ending in full, the futures abandoned, the love achieved. Three catalog facts frame the entry. The run is thirty-two episodes, one of two entries at that length. The registry column lists 7 against the API's thirty-two, part of this batch's systematic split between free counts and full counts, disclosed with the API figure used here. The counter reads 2,620 views, first of twenty, the highest count of the batch, so the batch's only fully-quoted source also holds its top audience. The byline is qinjiu_scene_ca, the seventh of its eight entries in this batch, all of them completed, and the platform marks the series completed.
