Reborn to Take Back My Name

About this drama

The source for this entry is a 365-character synopsis in the rebirth-revenge register. What it states: she was framed, disowned, and killed for a crime she never committed, her name buried with her. But when Lin Yue wakes on the morning her life fell apart, she gets a second chance. Armed with memories of her death, she returns to destroy every liar who took her name, her family, and her future. This time, she is taking it all back. The death is the premise's pivot, stated in the first sentence and answered in the second, and the grammar of the return is specific: she wakes on the morning her life fell apart, which puts the story's clock back at the origin day with the memories intact. The lead is the only named character. The villains are plural and unnamed, every liar, and the source lists what was taken in three parts, name, family, future, which is also the order the revenge will presumably collect in. The trajectory is stated as intent rather than outcome, since the synopsis gives her purpose and her armament but no battle and no ending, and the closing line is a declaration, not a result. The run is forty-nine episodes with 548 views, in the lower half for this batch, a standard length for a revenge that has to un-bury a name.
